Is confirmation recommended for negative results with a rapid test?
Yes, the recommendation is that negative results be confirmed with a more sensitive method like culture or a molecular test. Meridian offers two molecular options for Group A Strep testing, Alethia and Revogene. Both platforms offer rapid turn around times and definitive results without the subjectivity of culture.
What is the best use of the rapid Group A Strep test?
